Privacy
Short version: this is a static site with no accounts, no comments, no forms and no advertising, so there is very little to tell you.
What we collect
Nothing you type. There is no form on this site, no newsletter, no login and no comment section. You cannot submit anything to us, so we hold nothing you have given us.
No cookies from us. The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, their systems record standard request information: the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, the browser’s user agent string and the referring page. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, used for delivering the site and protecting it from abuse, and it is retained for a limited period under Cloudflare’s own policies.
Analytics
If aggregate traffic measurement is running on this site, it is set up to report on pages and totals rather than on individuals, and it does not build advertising profiles.
Links to other sites
Pages here link out to hotels, schools, clubs, the county council and other organisations, and to a small number of sites we run ourselves, which are named on the about page. Once you click a link you are on somebody else’s site under their privacy policy, not this one.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. Given the above, the answer here will almost always be that we hold nothing that identifies you.
Changes
If this site ever gains a form, a newsletter or anything else that collects information about you, this page will be updated before that happens, not afterwards.
